Everton fans last night

Very good post mate and good luck to you for the rest of the season.
I've always been warmly disposed to Everton fans, City fans have a lot in common with them i.e. sharing a city with a red shirt wearing more historically successful neighbour

Been lurking this forum for a few years now as a football fan i find it one of the better ones As an evertonian myself I had to finally sign up after the events of Wednesday night, every time there is trouble at football matches it seems to be blown out of proportion usually though it blows over pretty quickly however this feels different it seems like the media especially the echo are doing their best to stir things up between the two clubs instead of telling it like it was which was a local rivalry slightly getting out of control because a few idiots on both sides.

As for this alleged abuse of the disabled kid as a father myself I would not put my kids in that position and I wouldn't be running to the media afterwards either and I think you'll find if you look on our forums a lot of evertonians aren't buying into the hate the echo is trying to breed so hopefully city fans don't view us in the same light too.

there are idiots in our society full stop it matters little which team they follow and yes the normal match goer might get caught up in the emotion of the night but that's football that's why we love it the tribalism and feeling of belonging and pride in your team as it happens our pride took another beating Wednesday after a good start but That's no excuse for bottles being thrown these people need locking up !
Very good post. Out of interest have you posted similar in the GOT forum and if so what sort of reaction did you get?

Not posted there on the subject mate but i know many share my views though although obviously the Internet gives a lot of bellends a chance to voice their opinions from the safety of their homes! Best just leaving it now Imo...

..now just watch us draw you in the fa cup tonight ffs

According to the Echo, a third youngster with autism was so distraught at the abuse he received, he's asked to never go to an away game again. His dad, bless him, bought the tickets as a treat. He paid twice the face value and was 'assured' they were in the 'neutral' end. Sounds highly realistic yet again.
Looks like another fable from the mirror-group media, intent on stirring up yet more trouble.

Next we will have a nun who was verbally abused. This is the absolute dregs of journalism. The parents getting the fame should be totally embarrassed. Makes a mockery of all 3 made up fables!

As already mentioned, every team has its morons, us included. 1% gives us 500, 0.1% ,50. Somewhere between the two lies our moronic element, let's not get carried away, but...50-500 arseholes is still too many.

In the so called police brutality video the police are clearly trying to st the mickeys from attacking city fans. Behind them their coaches can be clearly seen. Get on them there isn't a problem.

As for the disabled kid I seriously doubt this happened. As many have said fellow blues would have stepped in if it did. Also we won sowe were happy so why abuse anyone.

The disabled kids dad is a liar and a despicable ****. I and 5 other Monton branch members have season tickets for 212, the disabled section where the physically disabled lad and his dad were was less than 5 feet from 3 of our members. Two of these, a nice lad of 15 and his dad told us on the coach going down to Villa. The Everton fan with the disabled child joined in with the away fans sing "oh Manchester is full of shit" with some gusto and agression I was told and was promptly told to shut the fuck up at no time did the lad get bad mouthed. he then got escorted by steward to join the Everton fans there is nobody even allowed up behind the seating in the disabled area other than the disabled their carers, police and stewards.
