I’ll hold my hands up and say that at half I wanted the big man off as he wasn’t even in the game but how wrong I was when all he needs is a sniff on goal and kdb on the pitch . Hope we don’t start arkanji near midfield again as he he first half didn’t work at all and we struggled . Akveraz needs benching as he looks shot atm . Phil foden could become the the best player in the world .

Doku has a lot of quality but he is young and learning. His end product is poor but will seriously improve. Grealish can frustrate but he is a fantastic footballer. Brathwait is going to be a super player, I hope we are interested.

"The VAR system seeks to provide a way for "clear and obvious errors" and "serious missed incidents" to be corrected.
There are four categories of decisions that can be reviewed.
  • Goal/no goal – attacking team commits an offence, ball out of play, ball entering goal, offside, handball, offences and encroachment during penalty kicks.
  • Penalty/no penalty – attacking team commits an offence, ball out of play, location of offence, incorrect awarding, offence not penalised.
  • Direct red card – denial of obvious goal-scoring opportunity, serious foul play, violent conduct/biting/spitting, using offensive/insulting/abusive language or gestures.
  • Mistaken identity in awarding a red or yellow card.

I said to my son... watch, now we've scored not one of them will go down injured again. It was a true miracle.

It's so blatant. One of our team either pep or the players should call it out when interviewed. Make some sort of smart remark to highlight how pathetic the tactics are. Pussys

I hold nothing against their fans, but they've been stinking up the league for far too long and it would be nice to see the back of them for a season or two. Still reckon there's three worst teams than them, though, so perhaps not.

Onwards to Copenhagen. I swapped my big winter coat for a lighter one for the first time since October, business is about to pick up.
