Why ? What did you think Everton could do differently to get a result….i think they played well and made us really work hard and come up with solutions to the issues in front of us.

Some truth in that, agreed. He can play there but just not up to the stratospheric standards of our midfielders.

Everton always seem give us a tough time of it at our place bar the couple of occasions we took them apart.

Having the likes of Walker, Grealish, KDB ect all to come off the bench is the joy of having an unbelievable squad which can help us win trophies again.

I think some on here underestimate how hard it is to play a high tempo vs 10 defenders. It often is all about patience and sometimes a bit of luck.

And Everton put on a very good fight. Yes often defended with 9 or 10. But also some decent football without an end product.
Annoying was the way some of their players started time-waisting after 10 minutes. Gladly it served them nothing other than 10 min fruitless extra time.

Anyways we put the aside and deservedly won to take 3 points and topping the league.
