I agree with you and - though it's not the thread for it - it should also be said that, when Rodri comes back, there's a reasonable chance that he'll struggle with his fitness and/form at least in the first few months. We may never see the same Rodri we had for the last 3 seasons. That's why, imho, we should go all out to sign the very best replacement that we can; a Rodri clone, and not a Kova type understudy. Then, over the next 6 months, get 4/5 other world-beaters on top to replace our fast-fading stars.I think people need to rein in their expectations for Bobb when he returns. Yes, he looked great in pre-season and scored the winner vs Newcastle last season but it's not a huge body of work to go on and he's missed 4-5 months of football, so it'll be like him starting a pre-season in January all over again. We need a spark but Bobb needs to be eased back in carefully.
