Everton (H) Post Match Thread

Great team performance, with some obvious little mistakes for ourselves. regardless ,we weathered the storm. Everton sat deep and played well as a unit for most of the match. Intelliegent play all over caught Everton out of positions for our goals.Solid all around. Proper squad circulation over the remainder of the season could shape our seasons finish. I really hope for this team that they do something special. I` ve never loved a city squad sooooo much.


had G.jesus and a 3-1 scorecast so happy days.....love the team ,love the manager and love the club and fans more....... whoop whoop CTID.
 
Bit worrying that we’re conceding really easy chances for the opposition, glad that richarlison didn’t have his shooting boots on today. Nice to see Jesus get two he looked really sharp today! Think he needs a run of games to get back to his best which he may not get now that Kun is fit again.
 
How anyone can be disappointed with a 3-1 win against Everton in difficult conditions is beyond me.

Gundogan and GJ were awesome and Dinho as well apart from a couple of misplaced passes.

Walker and Bernardo struggling at the moment and both could do with a rest it seems.

Great to play the first game of the round when you win :)

Some mistakes but overall a good performance and back to winning ways.
 
That was wank. Fucking freezing. Not enjoyable at all.

Couple of Everton fans down by us got kicked out in the first half. Stewards had a lot of trouble getting them out, and some lad in the row in front of us got a couple of punches and a kick in. He also had us for 3-1, so he has gone home happy.
 
Thought we played well and great to see Jesus amongst the goals again.
Sane is going to be something very special.
Defensively we looked a little lost at times and Walker was poor yet again, he's lucky we dont have any fit alternative as he wouldnt get in the side

Agreed^^^^

Walker makes few silly mistakes, his heart and head are in the right place as you can see it pisses him off when he makes a mistake. i cant be critical of him as he has been one of the best defenders in the premiership over the last few years, long before he arrived here.

You’re not speaking from a position of understanding, otherwise you would know that Walker has been getting his fair share of criticism (very much so in the match thread today, as well), including in his performance thread right now.

Stemming from a midfield being sloppy in possession but games are thick and fast, we have so many changes and injuries and shit happens.

We will be fine.
 
It was absolutely freezing today. Let’s get heated seats!!!
Quite a few near me said 3-1.
We should have had at least 5.
Fantastic for Gabby, his work rate was amazing. Mahrez needs to move the ball quicker, he’s too predictable and slows it down. Ferni was a little sloppy with his passing at times but got around quickly. Gundog had a decent game imo.
Leroy was a real handful again.
We get complacent and sloppy in the second half and need to eradicate that.
Raheem Sterling! He’s top of the league.

Our first goal came from there mistake from our pressing. Think Everton kept the ball very well in there 3rd of the pitch they have some very good players and why for me they should if beat the scousers who were very lucky to win the game against Everton. Anyway some fans opinions always differ its how you want to look at a game, either you watch and notice all the positives from players in a game or you watch it and pick up on all the faults on players.
