Apart from the defending being a bit ropey there’s not much to criticise, Bernado probably needs a rest, Gundo ran the game and along with Gabby rammed the critics words right down their throats.

Bloody freezing today! Great result and the best part of today was the return of King Kev. He's such a fantastic player and noticeable how he instantly improves others. Bernardo in particular looked far more comfortable and they all know to trust Kev, he makes the game look ridiculously easy. Gabby's movement was excellent and he deserved his goals. Only worries are minor - Delph allowed far too many easy crosses and lost it near the end and could have been sent off. For me Stones is missed as he is similar to Laporte and always looks to increase the tempo. Mahrez is a weird one, no doubting his ability but I can't quite see him ahead of Sterling and Sane in our best team. I'm sure he'll get there eventually. An important result. Keep warm fellow blues.

Well done gabby, great to see him bag a couple.

I thought we controlled the game well after the first goal but we allowed them far too many chnances, and a better quality team might not have lost that game.

Some very average performances from our side today, Delph, Walker, Ota.....Mahrez

Average player performances yet still win 3-1 against a good Everton side in horrendous conditions. Won’t always be champagne football so let’s enjoy the 3 points and sit back and see how scousers respond.

Tricky one today, shit kick off time, shitty cold dark windy wet day and perpetually tricky opponents.

All in all job done and we can now spend the weekend trying to come to terms with the fact we have to wish for the rags to avoid defeat.

Few notably poor passes today, and as others have said the defence is looking a little off the pace currently.

Providing no injuries have been picked up we can be more than satisfied with today.

Pleased for Jesus who has played well and worked hard of late but didnt get the goals his performances warranted, today they came. Nice also to see Sterling put the kind of chance away that he is quite adept at making a fucking balls of.

Little bit of luck for us today as well in so much as that Richarlson was doing his best Gary Birtles impression and could,nt hit a cows arse with a shovel.

It's funny, if Gundogan puts a foot wrong he gets eviscerated on here. Yet somehow Walker gets away with being consistently our worst player. Everytime he touches the ball my asshole puckers. I cant be the only one who thinks hes not nearly good enough?

I'd like to see Danilo get a stretch of games for once.

Playing against a top half team, with no midweek rest, and with 4 of our best players injured.

Job done, albeit not as “crisply” as one might want. That said, a bit of a disjointed team with fill in backups in about 6 positions.

Only downsides to the team this season seem to be a lack of sitting edge with the fast break, too many fast breaks resulting in a back pass to one of the center backs after pulling it back, and how completely disorganized we are when counter-attacked at times.

Time for Bernardo to get a rest...he looks like he needs one. Tuesday is a good opportunity for Foden to get another 90 minutes in him, and for KDB to get an hour. Gundo at DM with Fernandinho at home with his feet up alongside Bernardo!

All I need is to get back to being solid as we were at the beginning of the season. If we keep gifting chances like today a top team will punish us. See defeat to Chelsea.
