Reading a lot of the posts you’d think we drew or lost,we may not have been at our best but won 3-1 you can’t blitz teams every game and with injuries we are bound to see a slight dip in performances,my only concern is we seem to be giving teams more chances than we normally do but that’s probably again down to injuries and changes in team,pleased for g.jesus hope he goes on a very long run of scoring now,onto tues and Leicester where we might see aguero and De Bruyne get some game time ...

Yes, we haven’t played this poorly for two years. Nowt wrong with saying it. But even simple passes we can be making are either undernhit or overhit. Just not ourselves since the first half at West Ham.

The attendance was woeful today, swathes of empty seats in the Family stand alone, which I expect was down to season ticket holders swerving the game due to weather/Xmas shopping/being on TV. But it don't look great!

It wasn't woeful mate, it was nigh on full at the start but hundreds (like myself )fucked off to the concourse at about 30 mins because it was pissing in at all angles. Freezing rain! The concourses were mobbed. So it wasn't empty, just people seeking shelter and not coming back.

Totally agree, a good attendance today, quite understandable, it's been mentioned many times regarding the roof cover. Doesn't help much when the hospitality clan watch it inside !

Given the fixture pile up, and injuries, an extremely good result despite not being at our very best. The kind of result against a very decent Everton team that shows the strength of our squad. We'll done blue boys, and pleased to see two clinical finishes from jesus.
