Everton (H) Post-Match Thread

You are swimming against a very strong tide mate, it's you that is in the minority here, with your opinion on the officiating ..... I will wager that you would be No1 if there was a dislike button on here :-) That said, if we all had the same opinion it would be a very uninteresting world...... Funny how the interpretations and subjective decisions you mention always go in the dippers favour and against us or whoever they play innit....!

Oh i konw Im in the minorty.....

I saty out of the VAR debate thread as its nor teally a debate just a place for people to vent their anger against it (fair enough) - but people are going on about it in other threads as well and sometimes needlessly.

I dont really care if lots disagree...some people agree lots dont - Im comfortable with my opinion on things and comfortable with people not agreeing with my opinion...if i think its cheatting ill say so - i dont mind changing my mind either....or having it changed....

There was one point in the second half when I though WTF is he doing there, but all part and parcel of keeping EFC on the back foot. The only way they were gonna get anything out of tonight's game was if we shot ourselves à la Wolves!

He still has the odd moment of WTF but he was ok today and has been for a few games bar the error. His positional play at times still needs work.

I didnt say he was but they checked it as if he had been offside then that would have overuled any possible penalty clim....they restarted the game from the wrong position thought - the commentators commented upon that.

On bt none of them had a clue what was going on

it was quite a big cock up which makes his all round contribution poor. Better finishing and that game could easily have been 2 points tossed away. De Bruyne was partly culpable though for that stupid flick that went astray and started the ball rolling for the Bravo fuck up.

Yeah I'm not disputing it was a bad cock up..but apart from that Bravo had a decent game.

watched that in a sort of "meh", maybe the result of the fixture congestion, too little time to get over the previous games. Anyway, considering those lads have never played as a "team" before, they did well to blend as they did, Some great one-touch stuff, a few glorious passes, timely tackles and well-taken goals. Mendy is on the way back, the rust dropping away with each game. Everton did not have a greyhound up front so we coped comfortably with what they threw at us, (not much, tbf) but we will face much greater threats from hit-and-hope teams, until Eric is back. Var and Bravo has been done to death, our youngsters came through with flying colours, Mahrez...so frustrating, from superb to aaagh, no lack of effort or skill, just......erratic. The good news is the christmas period is behind us, tfft...
