I always wonder where they are goingGood job we never kicked off at 3 yesterday, people would have had to leave after 30 minutes to get where they had to be.

The love in is because he's been excellent for the majority of the season so far and yesterday was another impressive showing topped by a wonder goal.I don't get the love-in for Rodri. He benefits when teams like Everton come and sit deep. He literally has space in which to play.
The best defensive performer at City at the moment is imo John Stones. And the best forward: Bernardo.
The two most celebrated players: KDB and Grealish have been poor. IMO Sterling should retain his position when fit. KDB's potential is higher than anyone else so there is an argument to play him into form.

Sometimes I think your posts are just taking the piss tbh to get a reaction.
Rodri has been magnificent this season, for me second equal with Cancelo behind only Bernardo. You talk about space - he closes down space for the opposition brilliantly, he breaks up play, he moves the ball well from defence to attack, he does the dirty work to help the more offensively gifted players. To be fair all of our players do their share of the dirty work, he just does a lot more of it, and he does it magnificentlyI don't get the love-in for Rodri. I think when Rodri plays well it shows that the system is working as Pep wants it to. i.e. he can use his strengths and not be caught up in races against players breaking on us.
I am not saying that he is a poor player that needs special treatment but that like say Jorginho and unlike peak Fernandinho or Kante he thrives when part of a midfield unit designed to maximise his abilities.
Underrated.Where do you want your statue Rodri?
