Everton (H) - Post-Match Thread

Really enjoyed today’s match. Great performances all round and two high quality goals against a team that weren’t shit but were totally outplayed. Good to see Sterling take one of his chances, and he took it really well. McAtee’s cameo was really impressive. If that’s typical of his play he’s going to be one hell of a player. No help at all from the ref - will be interesting to see some of those incidents on TV.

You won’t see them, they’ll be forgotten

One of the games I've enjoyed the most this season - Palmer was amazing to see, nice cameo for McAtee as well.

Sterling's best game for a while and Rodri was fantastic. And ofc, what a pass from Cancelo

Onwards and upwards.

From row B right in front of the Bernardo incident I am still shocked as to how it wasn’t a pen, it’s not even shown on the highlights I’ve seen so far
Commentator on the stream I had was saying it wasn't a pen because Bernardo carried on for 2 steps after the contact before going down.

Yeah, 2 stumbling steps you muppet.

I've seen the replay, there was definitely a touch on Silva, but he carried on & then went to ground when he lost the ball. To be fair, it could have gone either way, but I'd have been pissed if any of the penalty claims had gone against us, as in my opinion they were closer to being no pen, than deffo pen.

Sterling great on the right.

Rodders supreme.

Gundo and Palmer not in game for first 30 mins then both did great.

Bernie and Stones fantastic, as usual.

I’d say my only disappointment was Laporte, thought he was really poor in the second half.
