Here's hoping the shaven ewok WTF! tears them a new arsehole. Oh and please stop with the cringeworthy "Boss at football". If that's the best you can come up with to describe Merlin you really should consult your copies of "Rogets", I suggest you start your searches under "Mercurial".
They have a unique perspective of life from that end of the M56 and love to pontificate in their usual scouse, humour filled, self righteous manner. They belittle working class traits in Mancunian people with absolutely no self introspect or awareness of irony that is fucking astounding coming from a city built on the same industrial and sea faring roots with a little slave trade mixed in (but we don't like to talk about that). They think of themselves as somehow superior in the homo-sapien genus pool despite the majority of them emanating from the very shallow end and that sticks veritably in my mancunian craw to such a degree that I can only wish them an ill wind tonight and on the 27.01.2016. I've worked in Ellesmere Port for a year or so and with a large mixed bunch mostly Toffees with a few red dippers thrown in. TBF on the whole I can say without doubt the toffees were a more likeable bunch than their red breatheren but carry a scouse chip on their shoulder the size of Warrington. They think they can do the treble (forgetting they have already been beaten once at Goodison this year) but the consensus from that forum indicates they'd take a defeat tonight if it means they can win over the 2 legs of the league cup. Lets hope Mr Martinez is of the same opinion. I'm rather hoping the real MCFC turn up for the next 2 matches instead of the imposters that played in the last Goodison outing. I think they will and it won't be by a distance but think 3 points and a visit to Wembley are there for the taking. If that pans out lets hope its not to play the Reds of Scousepool. There won't be enough candles in the UK when we beat them!

The other end of the M56 is Chester. They're not that bad there. On the other hand, look at Michael Owen.

Yeah I know. I was making specific reference to where I'd worked previously in Ellesmere Port which seemed full of Evertonians so used it as a ref point for their fans as opposed to Liverpool Central which I always associate with Liverpool fans despite only Stanley Park separating the grounds and Everton being the original tenants of Anfield!
Geographically of course you're correct.

Loads of empties for tonight...

Had a quick look - about 500 - 700 left on the planner out of 54,500. Is that your definition of loads?
Not bad for a mid week game considering were at home again within 72 hours - of course that's if they all show up - which they won't! But likely it'll be the biggest gate of a full programme of Premier League fixtures this week.
I'm not arsed that much about the few empties tbh and I'll be there which is all that matters to me.
