He's a bit of a sly bastard, definitely. Sometimes think we could do with someone like that ourselves though. Someone not afraid of putting the boot in from time to time.

This should be Delph's job and Fernando's. Although they don't seem to have sly/nasty enough streaks in them or they know MCFC players would never get away with it...

Yaya was poor in the game at Goodison, probably from playing too many consecutive games. After a rest at the weekend I would expect he's in better form tonight and Silva and Aguero are hopefully continuing to improve. Fernandinho is always a loss but I think Fernando or Delph will play and be tasked with holding the midfield. What's quite good (in a weird way) is that we lost the game at Goodison so Martinez would be mad to change tactics for this game regardless of whether it's away from home as it is a separate competition. I think he'll fancy his chances of winning this and if Barry and Besic do the same pressing game, and Yaya is up for it we could reap the rewards of bypassing their midfield with quick passing and Aguero looks like he's back in scoring form.

I think we're due a big and dominant win and tonight might just be it. With Silva, Sterling, De Bruyne and Aguero on the pitch Everton will struggle to contain us. They'll threaten on the break but I think we'll win comfortably. It will make the home league cup game a real tactical battle as they'll probably play on the counter more where I think they'll try and go toe to toe with us tonight.

Look out for me Alien tonight people

Don't pop him :(

A blue in Monchengladbach told me the story of the giant inflatable bananas but he forgot to tell me about the giant inflatable aliens :p

Demi in defence, no Fernandinho, not so confident about tonight.

3-0 win it is then. ;)
