Looks like Sigurdsson may be lining up for them.
Don't think so. He has missed a lot of pre-season or been training on his own.

This will be the usual siege against Everton that we have seen so many times before.

I hope we go with four at the back and play Sane and Jesus either side of Aguero. But I think we'll stick with the 3-5-2 and the same line-up as last week

Everton lack pace which should hopefully help us. They're playing a very clunky 343 which is simply shoehorning the likes of Rooney, Klaasen and soon to be Sigurdsson.

We should be beating these comfortably. They're a very average outfit. Not sure how we'll line up. I'd be tempted for something like this:

Ederson
Kompany Stones Dinho
Walker Yaya Silva Sane
KDB
Aguero Jesus

4-1 City.

Dinho at left centre-back? Why?

If we play a three at the back..I'd always play Kompany in the middle.
I like Kompany in the middle too but I honestly think Pep is trying to protect Stones in a way. The CB out wide has to defend like a fullback at times and has to defend 1v1. I think he's trying to avoid Stones from looking foolish. David Luiz looked like a world beater last season playing in the middle.
