I don't see how that's even remotely a surprise to anybody. It's the final starting 11 minus gundogan and Bernardo who have both played a lot these last few weeks from lack of alternatives. All this avoiding injury stuff is bollocks, should they not train for a week too to avoid injury? They need match sharpness otherwise we go into the final with hardly any of our starting 11 having played for 3 weeks and then the same people will complain we looked sluggish. The only question was how fit Sergio is, we want to finish the game with him on the pitch, clearly not fit enough for the 90 so he comes on second half no problem. Opportunity for foden to do the business centrally today.
