I can understand why Pep has gone strong today. You don't want the players lining up next saturday a bit rusty. I just hope there are no injuries; Everton won't be coasting this, with a place in Europe a possibility for them, albeit a slim one. 6th does get you into the EL, I think.

And 7th gets into the new Europa Conference League, whatever the fuck that is.

No!….and that’s what makes it harder to see him leave, Dave right time, Vinnie equally, Zabba maybe not and Yaya a year or two too late…..but if he scores the winner in the CL final, then like Vinnie we can all celebrate that it proved to be exactly the right time in the right circumstances
