We defo need the 3 points today to kick start our Xmas run of fixtures. Next up are Leicester, West Ham and Brentford - on paper not too difficult. If we don't the safety 40 points does look far away as we're slipping down the league. We'll reinforce in the January window but new players will need time to bed in.
Will new players arrive though, no real links to anybody yet apart from the ones that aren't happening ie Zubimendi and Guimaraes. I think we'll struggle to get any top quality in January

Anything will be better than what we are witnessing at present.

Don’t think Everton will have the quality to hurt us in the transitions tbh. Expecting a pretty routine 2 - 0 win. Prob take a while to break them down but just don’t see them offering a threat the other way

Teams haven't had to do much to score against us recently, a lot of the goals we've conceded have been from our own dong not the quality of the opposition. I wont be banking on a clean sheet anyway.

if we don't stop the rot today its going to get very ugly.

"Routine win"? LOL. WTF is one of those?

I think that we should have a 'Sack the board' demo outside main reception if we don't get 3 points from this game.

No point trying to play with control today. We need a fast start. Crosses in to the box and getting shots away. Not getting to 30 mins without testing their keeper, which we do far too often. The tempo will be slow and allow them to keep organised.

We'll probably concede anyway, so let's get at them and remind everyone just how good we are.

Love Bernardo, and happy to see him start, but not out wide. Even Foden out there rather than central would be more of an attacking threat (clearly a Bernardo hattrick masterclass from out wide is incoming and of course I'd be delighted with that!). Strangely optimistic about this one. 3-1 City.
