Once again, one day we will win again, maybe today, but I really hope our board doesn't act like there is no problem when it comes to January. We need reinforcements and we need them badly.

----------Ortega
AkanjI SP Gvardiol Ake
Wright Kovacic
Foden KDB Doku
-------Haaland

x4 defenders at back, when out of possession, [SP in. No Walker/Nunes/Rico].
In possession Gvardiol supports in left midfield. Wright in for Gundogan for his
legs and strength to assist Kovacic/Gvardiol. No Silva/Savinho as no goal threat.
Foden in, as more likely to score. Doku in [No Grealish] as he is only forward likely
to get behind defence. KDB as only truly creative player we have to supply Haaland.

Due to the run, with loss of form and confidence, resulting in individual errors many
Fans will have all sorts of preferred starting x11, which is wholly understandable.
I decided on x4 at back to reduce space between them. Gvardiol to move forward as
he's comfortable with the ball & then to select forwards who are more likely to score
or at least get behind defence, either wide or central. Doku final ball is not fantastic,
& KDB is nowhere near his best however we are playing Everton @ home not Liverpool.

However, I'm fully expecting Pep will select min x3 out of Walker/Rico/Gundog/Silva....

I'm just out now 2:1 Haaland/Foden

First things first today, no stupid errors please.

Don’t give these a sniff and then all we need is one measly, little goal. They will make it ugly (if we let them) so let’s keep grinding to find a piece of quality or magic.

We have to have a day where a few things go right, why not today? Come on City!
