Everton (home) Semi Final Tickets

I feel it's a shame that there is so much apathy towards a semi final after just a few years of success and before that 30 years of not getting to one. I respect everyone's decision about going or not going but, IMHO, it doesn't cast a good light on us as fans and it is bound to be picked up on by the media. If United or Liverpool etc were half empty for a semi people would be having a field day on here.

I'll say it again; lazy fans.

We can all list the games we've been to, this is the most important game of our season so far this year. Our club need the fans on Wednesday night to win the game.

Most important game of the season so far?

Not for me mate the final CL group game was far more important.

There is a lot of apathy amongst the support this season mate though tbh so you do have a point, not sure its laziness though mate.

why the fuck does it bother you that it bothers me ? if you dont have to explain for not going to the game ? i'm merely pointing out i think its a joke now a club of our size is not selling out for this. If you feel guilty enough to respoend in such a manner then so be it.

What was our attendance for our last league hip game semi final.

The lower tiers are selling well now and look like they will be pretty much sold out by Wednesday so might be 46-48,000 there which is good.

Yes, slow but steady sales at the moment. If we get over 46,067, which was the figure against the scum in 2010, it will be a stadium record for the League Cup and the best we have had since 1981. It's hard to estimate total sales given EL 3 isn't on the planner but earlier posters have said it's quite full up there so we're maybe currently at 42-43,000.It's not great but hardly a disaster.

Ah but 20,000 of them are Everton fans apparently so not a real reflection :-)

LOL.

I read somewhere we'd actually only allocated them 7,292 seats (not the 8,000 that keeps getting quoted). If we assume 2-3,000 will have managed to blag tickets for our sections they will be bringing about 10,000. A big support, yes, but we will easily outnumber them!
