i wasn't around back then mate ;), but i think its one of those games where I would have regretted not buying tickets for it. Its a semi final !

it was the same with everton and stoke they struggled to sell out from what i remember

Everton didn't sell out, there were quite a few gaps down the sides of the main stand and the upper tier behind the goal.
