Everton in middle-east takeover?

oh yeah re questions answered but undoubtedly a positive for us. the stadium will be a massive hurdle for anyone but i can see kenwright relenting his shares sooner rather than later. congratulations on a win today, good weekend all round for us !!

a lot of work still to be done but a massive step in the right direction for the club. any investment from anyone is better than the current stagnation and the initial impression would suggest he is in it for all the right reasons. as majority shareholder it will be in his best interests to make everything about the club better. stadium issue will be a massive hurdle but investment in the club was sorely needed as the opposite was unthinkable.

A new stadium must be a priority.

new stadium is a massive desire but i remember destination kirkby and the false hope and not sure exactly how long it would take to build a new one but would imagine between 3-5 years

When you look at the clubs who have managed to build new stadiums over the last 20 years or so, you have to ask why a club of Everton's size haven't managed it. Stoke, Boro, Leicester, Sunderland, even Huddersfield managed to get a brand spanking new stadium.
I know we got lucky, but I still think a club the size of Everton should have addressed this issue a long time ago.

It's happening! It's really happening! We've been bought by a billionaire and the cult have lost a penalty shoot out! Life will never be the same again lads, this is just the start.

Any chance that the proposed stadium at the King's Dock might be back on the agenda mate? Think it was yourself that said on here some time back that all Kenwright needed to do was to get an extra £30 million funding for that one to happen. Location wise, it would be amazing if Eveton built a stadium there - would surely piss the Liverpool fans off no end.

Think that opportunity has gone now. They've built a big exhibition and conference centre next to the Echo Arena, which is where I think the stadium would have been. The plan is to build at Walton Hall Park, which is just the other side of Queens Drive from Goodison.

Ive been to Liverpool and no disrespect but there is an abundance of spare waste ground on which to build a new stadium lol.

As for the takeover, good luck to them and the more the merrier as far as im concerned as it makes the league and the competition a much better watch.
