And we will have 2 games in hand over them and well FFS if they become a threat to us it wont matter anymore anyway because if that happens we wont get in to the top 4 anyway...

only 1 game in hand mate. They're a legitimate threat.

there 7 points behind and we still have game in hand..... grow some balls, every other year its fighting relegation or mid table obscurity!

so those who slated our result........ what say you?

they battered chelsea, scum, arsenal and unlucky with other bin dippers, maybe were not so bad after all hey.

They'll fade.
i very much doubt it , they always finish high up the table if they carry on playing like they have been doing its going to be a veryy close between us and them

Have we indirectly cost the scum their chances of the league?

A decent CB could have stopped the first two goals going in or at least organised the defence better.

Ferdinand only missed this match because he appealed his ban so he could play against us.

Get the fuck in there!

Rags were dogshit, Everton much the better team. Was funny watching obertan he was fucking bobbins. And as for brown and johnny evans - LOL

Btw it wasn't as great a goal by rodwell as they're making out. He just trotted up whilst johnny evans jogged along and let him get a shot in at goal from inside the box, piss poor defending and not a special goal as they were making out so let's not get too excited and put a £30 million bid in just yet

Also, what about the rooney free kick - why were they saying it was going in the top corner if it wasn't for Distins head? It took a HUGE deflection of Distin and was just as likely to go straight into Howards arms or over the bar as it was to go in the top corner, it was impossible to tell

Maybe some will now stop overreacting to our defeat there?

Exactly. Their defeat of Chelsea should have proved how difficult they are to beat at home now they are into their stride. Let's emulate this away defeat for the rags on April 17th, putting an end to their title hopes and cementing our 4th (or even 3rd) spot!!

And today without Cahill and Felleini who were dominant against us and while we rode our luck in the second half they scored from a set piece and a penalty while today especially in the last 15 minutes they opened up Utd with some ease.

Everton with their best side are on a par with us and the others in the hunt for fourth but we have more upside in the times ahead.

That Arteta would be great in our midfield, he knows the premier league already, and he is so comfortable on the ball, at always looks to produce something positive.

Gollum would keel over if we signed him.
