Absolutely fucking excellent.
And as many of you will know I’m not his biggest fan.
Out of interest, what do you now like about him? I could understand his first season to a degree (I’ve loved him since he got here) as he definitely initially struggled with the pace of the league. But now he’s an absote boss in the middle of the park. Totally runs it and makes it look easy.. we have totally changed the way we play and it’s maninly because of him. He’s the perfect metronome.

Went for Cancelo simply because before the goal, we were actually a bit flat and wasn't creating much at all, without that goal right on half time we could have been looking at another game where we can't break down a very mediocre side. We needed that magic to give us the lead and ultimately the 3 points. Wouldn't argue against any of the midfield trio though, all were superb.

His first 2 seasons were bobbins.
Cant deny he’s looking the part now though.

Rodri by a million miles. That strike goes into the history books of classic long-range strikes at Eastlands today and he's been superb all season. Rock steady and classy as fuck. He even tucks his shirt into his shorts, the nutter. Really starting to love the guy.

I thought it clicked for him about this time last year which coincided with our run for the title.
Sterling for me. Constant threat, and a world class goal. That was the crucial goal after which everything came easy.
I know he missed an easier chance but I thought he was a constant threat all game. Cole Palmer, Bernardo, and Cancelo also had very good games.
