I’m pretty clueless on the tactics malarkey so stand to be corrected but the main thing that I see (and frustrates the hell out of me) is that we hardly ever get a player running beyond the wide man behind the opposition defence. Whenever we play the ball wide everyone seems to move infield leaving Bernardo, Doku, Savinho, Jack etc isolated, facing two or three defenders and virtually forcing them to pass the ball inside. They must be operating under instruction but even with Zaba and Clichy it was always one of our main offensive strengths.
