Doku? Are you kidding ? I thought he was our worst player today and nowhere near his recent levels.

Haaland was the best player but some good games from 3/4 others not least Bernado when he came on. Excellent hard working cameo from him.

As I said earlier, I thought Savinho was poor too. His passing, shooting and crossing, in the first half especially, were shockingly bad.

His poor performance was masked by a great assist.

Yeah the match of the day clips of the first half show it in all its glory bar that one bit of decent play near the end of the first half.

For me it was O'Reilly, despite the big man getting the 2 goals. O'Reilly was good at left back and set the big man up for the 1st goal. Bernardo also had a good game when he came on and the midfield looked a lot more balanced.

Yes, if you mean he was fantastic.

I think O'Reilly is incredible and will hopefully have a far better career than Nunes, but Nunes had arguably the better performance yesterday. He created chances as well and was much more heavily involved in possession (95 accurate passes from 100 attempted!).

I know it's slightly off topic but I'm struggling to remember any other time I've enjoyed an individual performance in an Everton shirt*, but Illiman Ndiaye was brilliant.

*Paul Power winning the league doesn't really count.

Nico O for me then Erling then Nico G.
Without good passes to give Erling a small amount of space the goals don't happen. Hence Nico O as my choice.

Foden for me despite Haaland scoring twice...
He is knitting everything together at present and has take on a lot of responsibility and is doing it very well.

Nunes, O'Riley, Gonzalez, Foden and Cherki (in the last 10 mins he played).. unbelievable performance. So proud!
Ake is no longer good enough for us, he's as slow as a snail. Savinho not as bad as he usually is. Reijnders and Doku were not at their best but Silva and Kovacic proved they still got it (at least for this season still).
Haaland brought us the victory but he had some nasty misses and robbed Cherki of a KDB-esque assist in the last minutes for his hat-trick :/

Foden all day long.

We don’t win this game without him. Created pretty much all of our chances.

O’Reilly, Nico and Haaland also played well, loved Cherki’s cameo too. Bernardo looked good from the bench as well.

I love how Foden fearlessly took over the role of a main playmaker with KDB being gone now. He is our KDB replacement, Cherki showed more in 30mins he played than 150mil Wirtz did in 8 games, he's going to be our David Silva replacement by next season.

Haaland had a great game. But I voted for Foden. 2 pre-assists and instrumental in keeping the ball (controlled several wild passes under pressure when less skilled players would have lost possession). In the 2nd half Foden played deeper and was more influential.

Foden did indeed have a very good game, particularly towards the end of the game. His passing was outstanding.

Notice that the voting concentrates on a small group, and it's typically the same group who do very well every match day. We need to grow this group. Marmoush and Cherki could come into this category. Possibly also Savinho. Savinho assisted Haaland for his 2nd and had some nearly special moments.
