Everton Post Match Thread

i`m not slitting my wrist either, but the way this team has under-performed concerns me greatly. especially when imo the individual brilliance has had to dig us out of the hole the system and team selection has put us in

as a city sympathizer but not die hard fan, i rather objectively feel it's gonna go arsenal's way now. can't see them screw up like they usually do. and god knows how i dislike those tarquins.

They screwed up last night. 2 points down the pisser there. To be fair to us we rarely throw away points from winning positions late in the game. We just don't get in winning positions enough in the first place!

Everton will play no different in two weeks time What can we do different to win the tie ? its imperative we get a goal early However i was excited in the summer because with the players we captured i thought it sounded the death knell to our clueless sideways back forward back football ,but i fear it is still very much alive ffs its so infuriating

I was listening to Talk Sport (I know, I need my head examining but I was driving and nothing else on radio) and there was an ex-referee who said that that was a stonewall penalty at the end. He said that East had it all wrong. Not that it helps us but it just shows once again that the referees are just not up to the job.

He actually said that he thought the standard was falling!! But I arrived at my destination just then and had to switch off. It is disgraceful. IMHO

They absolutely will. They played at 50% last night. In the semi-final they will be like yard-dogs in our faces and they will compete. In the end they were just happy to drop back last night.

Well, if they are allowed to waste as much time as they have done in the last two games, and commit as many cynical fouls to breakup play without yellow cards being shown as in the last two games, and when you can kick, rugby tackle, trip or simply take the legs away from a City attacker in the penalty area without a penalty been given, as in the last two games, it becomes a much easier game for them to play.

The regular fouling is just what Moyes' Everton used to do.
And Allardyce's teams.
And Stoke.

Make sure you make contact at very challenge, the ref will play on and after a while you've kicked that star player enough that he slows down.
