Everton - Post match thread.

Both of the send offs were bullshit. Walker threw a slight elbow and shneiderlin's was a good challenge and a pretty bad dive by aguero. The ref was shite.

walker never ever even raised his arm.....no elbow at all

sneiderlin catches aguero with the follow through...out of control and dangrrous play...exactly what walker got his first (deserved) yellow for

Just watched the game again and totally agree. Walkers second yellow was farcical both Snierderlins could have been red.

Started off poorly - had real trouble dealing with the long ball to Calvert-Lewin. Then Walker is bizarrely sent off. Happy to pick up a point after that.

Thought we actually played much better a man down. Need to be more clinical in front of goal.

Bernardo Silva must start. Magic on the field.

Great post. When our full backs bomb forward, teams who are sat deep will ping the ball long to the channels and get their attackers to hold it up: a simple but effective tactic.

We have seen already that we are going to face the bus game after game. We need to move that ball quickly to get around it as pace is less effective against deep lying defences.

Very pleased with the character shown and one or two individual performances most notably Ota and Sterling.

Everything else has been covered at great length so I'll leave it there.

Too easy to play against you can see teams fancy their chances against us.
Brighton didn't they sat back the entire match
Everton barely got out of their own half and were time wasting inthe second half clinging on for a victory when we were reduced to 10 men.

interesting tactic by everton to let only otamendi have the ball

showed character to keep going and get the draw, despite the inept official

I know it would be a unpopular choice on here but I think we should go for Diego costa, he is the type of Cf that can bully cbs and be a presence in the box, if pep could control his attitude I think he would do well with all of the chances we create
That would put the cat among the pigeons, and it may get take him until Christmas to get fit enough for Pep, but he is exactly the type of player we need...strong, eye for goal, not unhappy being a target man. However, would he want to sit on the bench for 75 mins every game?!
