This has the feeling of Newcastle 2 years ago. We won then, and I think we'll win on Saturday, you get the feeling the lads aren't in a mood to let this title slip.

does remind me of the newcastle game two years ago. We have some of are big players back just in time hope silva can make it back from injure in time and play some part cos hes a big player for the big occasion. distans doubtful but jagielka should be back, mirallas also out and of course barry. But not taking this one for granted everton have always posed a threat for city home and away in the past but with whats at stake i fully expect city to overcome this hurdle and the final two after that.

Twitter rumours are that a City banner will be making its way into the Everton end.

'Manc for the day'

Also, they are already recruiting for the parade if they win the league.

I wasn't sure if it was real at first, but it's a genuine agency.

But the celebration is for Liverpool winning the 'Football League'

When did they get relegated to the Championship?

We haven't won there since 2009, however I think we can get the job done and get the 3 points, I think it'll be a close game though. 2-1 city.

This Everton are a better team than that Newcastle team of two seasons ago in my opinion and our record at Newcastle compared to Goodison is incomparable, they along with Sunderland are our ultimate bogey team and could play eleven under 21s and still probably find a way to get a result.

We need to shake this monkey off our back though and if we really want to win the league we will get a win on Merseyside come Saturday evening.

I think we need to score first as it I think psychologically we will be set, if we went behind first I see another bottle job commencing.

We have better players and a better incentive, if we play with a winners mentality then we win this game.

Just this bit would've done,Barry and Mirallis are big misses for them, would be more worried if Moyes was still there

Everton are a very different beast under Martinez than the personification of negativity that was Moyes, a more open game with their injuries should give our strikers good opportunities to score but then again I could easily see them score too with our defensive failings throughout this season making an appearance.

Fuck me I have no idea how the Liverpool fans could possibly think they were gonna win the league for the past month, I foresee us loosing every bloody match we play. We're safe from relegation right?

I think it will only be Mirallas and Barry who will be out as it is looking likely Distin, Jagielka and Baines will be fit for the game.

I expect us to be going into this game with a winners mentalty knowing that this is our biggest the game of the season so our key will be Pellegrini's team selection and our ability to score first in my opinion.

We have to score first to settle us down as I just think if they were to go one up we will likely hit our usual panic stations that has become a regular occurance in big away games this season. I do think Manuel has a team selection dilemma as I would consider going with three in midfield and play more pragmatically, Martinez will inevitably go with the three in midfield and if we are to lose this game I think it will be because we are overrun in the middle of the park.

Like I said earlier we have better players so if we turn up we should win, my fear is us not showing that our incentive to win the league is stronger than Everton's is to consolidate 5th place.
