Everton are a very different beast under Martinez than the personification of negativity that was Moyes, a more open game with their injuries should give our strikers good opportunities to score but then again I could easily see them score too with our defensive failings throughout this season making an appearance.

Fuck me I have no idea how the Liverpool fans could possibly think they were gonna win the league for the past month, I foresee us loosing every bloody match we play. We're safe from relegation right?

I think it will only be Mirallas and Barry who will be out as it is looking likely Distin, Jagielka and Baines will be fit for the game.

I expect us to be going into this game with a winners mentalty knowing that this is our biggest the game of the season so our key will be Pellegrini's team selection and our ability to score first in my opinion.

We have to score first to settle us down as I just think if they were to go one up we will likely hit our usual panic stations that has become a regular occurance in big away games this season. I do think Manuel has a team selection dilemma as I would consider going with three in midfield and play more pragmatically, Martinez will inevitably go with the three in midfield and if we are to lose this game I think it will be because we are overrun in the middle of the park.

Like I said earlier we have better players so if we turn up we should win, my fear is us not showing that our incentive to win the league is stronger than Everton's is to consolidate 5th place.

Pretty sure that Everton will still be in Europa next season if they finish 6th.

Our incentive is much bigger than theirs but I agree of course we have to show it on the day.

City's record at Goodison Park since 2000: LDDLLDLWLLLL

means nothing mate not even worth the ink if you had wrote it down on paper, sat is a one off the players can smell the title, i hope you come on here on sun and repost that with a W on the end, fingers crossed

Look at it this way-we are due.....

If the team WANT to win the Premier League, it will be obvious from the first kick to the last kick at Everton. Anything less than 100% effort will be seen for what it is.

EVERY GAME is a must win, knockout, one off, winner takes all game from here on in.

I expect the same team that started against Palace, except I might play Milner, Yaya, Garcia and Fernandinho across the park in a diamond, with Yaya forward and Garcia at the back. Let's see if Everton can deal with that power, while trying to also snuff out Aguero and Dzeko upfront.

I am afraid that everytime we do this we settle down too much to a point that it gets scary. we need to score early, I agree but, we need to kill the game off.

Their players press well and run around a lot. If it was me, I'd play Fernandinho and Garcia as DM's and push Toure up. There is no use in Toure wasting his energy chasing their attackers.

Agree, with Milner on the right to snuff out Baines.

...and Nasri on the left.

I've been suggesting a 5 man midfield this week. Then it's a case of Aguero or Dzeko. Tough call. The line-up is going to be Pellers' biggest and, probably, last big call of the season.

Thankfully, I am not the manager, and so I'll just stick to the day job and being a paranoid City fan the rest of the time.

Shitting bricks about this game, always felt we'd a win at Palace but this game fills me with dread.

Everton's position in their season-long fight for the 4th spot may help us as even if they feel that their chances for the 4th spot have largely gone, the Everton boss must send his team out to win. That might help us.

The most nerve wracking game ive witnessed this season was the dippers Chelsea game on sunday as oh so much was reliant on it..

The Everton game this Saturday will make that seem like a walk in the park..
