Everton Thread 2019/20

I haven't been in Manchester for couple of years apart from the game. Chatting to locals there you can almost tell who they support. Liverpool is pretty much the same, the red half can't wait to tell you how great they are and bore you with their history and mock you for being a blue. When I go back if they are playing at home we avoid town like the plague. So full of their own self importance it's funny.
Even now you can sense they would use the high moral ground they love if they are/aren't awarded the premier title.

I wonder if actually, they do not want to win the league, they want it voided. To me they would love nothing more than to portray themselves as the victims of a huge conspiracy. The league was stolen from them by City, United, the government, anybody. With the help of the media they will be hoisted up as the uncrowned champions who would have broken all records, top scorers, golden boot, most points, if only 'we' hadn't ensured it all got cancelled.

i'm not sure where you would have to go to ascertain what they actually want. the murky depths of RAWK, their media loveys, the psychotic out of towner who props up a bar in surrey wearing his rome 77 trackie and insists his mates call him "scouse", i have family members who support them and i rarely discuss football with them. i would probably give Aldo a shout on twitter but he is probably offering pigeons a straightener.

Classic. From Bedfordshire originally and I have lost count of these types.

It’s scary the difference between this deal and ours with Puma.

It just shows the size of the task confronting Everton - and Newcastle, if the deal goes through - to compete with the "big boys" and break into the top six.

It took us 11 years to get that deal with Puma too, even then it's across the CFG and below our rivals level.

Does not matter. CFG can allocate the funds as they wish. and we are not as popular as our rivals. We have done very well to get £65m a year, its arguably overvalued and above Chelsea, Arsenal, Bayern, Juventus. We are not as popular as those 4 clubs for example.

Should we continue to be successful in the next 10 years too, we will probably have the biggest kit deal in the game when the Puma deal expires in 2029.
