I dont think they even replayed that incident on MOTD or anywhere else.
He kicked out purposely when he was going down and connected with the player.
He is a snidey pseudo hard case and when confronted will bottle it as he did when Walker fronted him up after another cowardly act pushing Walker into the hoardings when the ball had gone out of play!

The classic 'run towards the ball but make sure your shoulder connects with the oppo's sternum' tackle. MCFC players have been cautioned dozens of times for far less than that assault. VD - how's the knee, Virgil? - epitomised the gruesome brick shit house making sure early on that the artist would understand things would get rougher and tougher. Had that been de Gea and, say, Raheem, Crappenberg would have classed it as a 'coming together', whereas the 'coming together of Virgil's elbow and James' rib cage was professional brutality, which, again, had it been delivered by Gundog, Ferny or Rodrigo, it would be classed by the RDAHMeedya as a 'tactical foul'! S'funnhy how similar incidents end up at the opposite end of the infrigement spectrum!
