Everton are lost at sea. They are going to go the same path as we did and drop down the leagues.
They have a chairman fan like we did back then. He is always looking to do things on the cheap, on one hand he gives and the other hand he takes back more.
The fans are going to revolt, the players will be scared to take any ownership.
We have seen it all before, they have huge problems.
He has spent lots of money tbf. The difference is their recruitment has been horrible.
Even under the useless Hughes we signed the likes of Bellamy, Kolo, Given etc who were several levels better than the likes of Iwobi, Keane, Sigurdsson etc who the Toffees have pissed away their windfall on

Do things on the cheap? You have to be joking.

They have bought cheap players for crazy prices and wages, and add mercenary managers to that list.

The owner has put crazy money into the club but has had terrible advice on player/manager recruitment.

Let's also not forget the owner is funding a new stadium and training ground, hence he is nothing like P.J.Swales.

Fair point.

outside of the Rags, Everton must have wasted the most money in the league since their takeover. Just had a look, Moshiri bought 49.9% in February 2016, since then they've spent just over £500m gross on:

Stekelenburg, Gueye, Ashley Williams, Bolasie, Calvert-Lewin, Lookman, Schneiderlin, Klaasen, Onyekeru, Pickford, Keane, Sandro, Bowler, Rooney, Martina, Sigurdsson, Vlasic, Tosun, Walcott, Richarlison, Digne, Bernard, Mina, Andre Gomes, Delph, Gbamin, Kean, Iwobi, Allan, James Rodriguez, Doucoure, Godfrey, Josh King, Gray, Townsend, Begovic and Rondon. 3 of the latter 4 were frees.
quoted a post I made about a month ago to dispel this notion, they've wasted an exorbitant amount of money.

I saw this piece on the BBC site from Phil McNulty after Everton's defeat the other night: https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/59500468

For those who can't be arsed with the link, this is how it begins:

Everton chairman Bill Kenwright claimed lavishly earlier this year that other clubs look admiringly in the direction of Goodison Park's boardroom when examples of how to conduct their affairs are required.

Kenwright stated: "One very famous football club said to me two or three days ago 'whenever we have a problem we say 'what would the Everton board do?' because they always get it right'"

If that's an accurate quote - and I've no reason to doubt it - then the levels of conceit and delusion are incredible. No wonder they look as though they're in the shit.
