I don't think Benitez is a bad manager, but I do think the majority of that team would struggle in the Championship - in particular Pickford. What people see in him I will never know, I think he's by far the poorest goalkeeper in the Prem, and there's quite a few of them. His distribution is zero (hoof!), positioning appalling and his reactions are so slow and ponderous he almost (almost) makes Slabhead look somewhat sprightly. The amount of goals they've conceded tell you a lot.

If Benitez is given time he'll be able to steady the boat, but he is going to need some new players in January, players that will roll their sleeves up and get stuck in, because if not relegation looms large.
Pickford is a very good keeper. Mendy gets lauded at Chelsea but watch his distribution.

I don't know what the problem is at EFC. I thought they were very poor when they visited City. If you look at their line-up it's not bad. I think their problem is that they have stood still for so long and now almost every side in the Premier League is seriously good. Look at the football that Watford played against Chelsea. Or look at Leeds and Southampton whose teams are well coached and well motivated.

Everton's board repeatedly make a lot of strange coaching appointments and their player recruitment over the years has been poor.

I think their season depends on whether Calvert-Lewin can dig them out of a hole. They need some belief. At the moment their players aren't fighting but they need to realise that they are the only ones who can dig them out of a hole.

Whilst I'm not an Everton fan by any means I do have sympathy for them having the cunts in red lauding it over them .

Reminds me of when we were in the same position with the rags and the continuous shit we got from their arrogant and gobby hangers-on .

The trouble is that despite spending some decent money the players they have bought are not up to scratch and collectively are nowhere near the level of the dippers , so the abuse from their cultish and cuntish supporters will be tough to take.

Shows it isn’t about having money to spend, it’s about the club having a coherent recruitment plan and the people within to implement it.

Newcastle will face the exact same issues and I see nothing there to suggest they will get it right either.

He loves hoofing it.

at least when our gobby red cunts were lauding it over us they were the most successful team over a 20 year period.
The red dippers are not even the most successful club over the last couple of years and have won two trophies in 10 years.
all the fans of the red shirted history clubs are cunts, but the red dippers are currently the biggest cunts. Its not that the rags and the tarquins have reduced their cuntiness, they havent.

They have bought very badly.

Most of their players are mercenaries' , there for a payday and a bag full of money and I include their manager now and previous.

Just shows that money is no guarantee of success, clubs have to get the right people in from top to bottom, Everton have failed miserably.

Football has moved on, and they haven't - even Burnley are trying. Like at the Swamp, there appears to be no plan in place. It feels like there maybe a 'dressing room' problem (like at Utd) along with all the other problems.
