Martinez is an idiot if he goes back there.
Martinez is an idiot if he goes back there.
Looks like the Belgian FA have rejected the job share proposal even on an interim basis.
I don't watch enough of Everton to answer this question.
Pickford looks half the player in a Everton top than his English top.Does he have any protection???
Were you there when he said that? LolMartinez to the Belgian FA
"I know you've paid me handsomely to waste the best crop of players this tiny country has ever and likely will ever produce and ruin any chance of international glory, but would you mind if I totally half arsed it, turned it into a side job for the same pay giving you zero benefits in return and took a sweet payday at Everton too?"
No but I had Piers Morgan tap his phone. Were you there when he said that? Lol
Like a few posters have said, the likes of Everton, Villa etc.. fell in to the trap of falling for the FFP ruling and not seeing the wood from the trees. Its clear as day that it was designed to protect the elite clubs (G12 cartel to put in bluntly) all other clubs believed the media narrative. We got in through the trap door and have had to face scrutiny at every corner but at least we're now self sustained and have been ran impeccably. Any other club who get a benefactor in have their hands tied back and I have no sympathy, they all thought that City was the big bad wolf but in truth it has always been the authorities . Them clubs reap what they sow. Its quite funny seeing Newcastle fans change their tune now they have money.Id take a couple of 13th place finishes the next 2 seasons, if it meant the club was in the process of getting together the right structure/vision and starting to build with good young players coming in. At least then you can see the progress and where the club are trying to head.
We cant even make profits on players now as most of the signings are 25+ on stupid wages so nobody wants them.
We need to start looking at the Dortmund model (think its what Palace are doing, Southampton and possibly Brighton too) of signing up good young talent from the likes of yourselves, Chelsea and elsewhere for decent money, giving them playing time and sell at a profit until you hopefully get to a point where you have a quality crop and can start challenging.
He's just an idiot and a totally and utterly overrated manager.Martinez is an idiot if he goes back there.
Completely agree. No room at the top.
Everton would probably take a bit of stability right now and at least start to compete on the pitch again.
Only 2-3 teams can genuinely win the league. The rest must do with a good season and maybe a cup. Unless we have another Leicester season.
No point spending money to only manage 6th.
I hope all clubs can now see the damage United, Arsenal, Spurs, Liverpool, Chelsea have caused to competition. Signed the FFP death warrant. Pointless investing.
He would do a better job than Rafa
