Why would Hasenhuttl want to leave when he is doing a decent job, in favour of going to a club in disarray when their owners are concentrating on a new super stadium? Look at Arsenal and Spurs.

He won't leave now, but if Everton can survive and whoever is going to be the next manager has good money to spend, he could be tempted if offered. Depends on Southampton's new owners though.

Should never have been given the job in the first place, with the squad they have it was a disaster waiting to happen. for benitez to have ever been even remotely successful there they would have needed a great squad to push for europe because his Liverpool connection made it virtually impossible to win the crowd over from the start.

Any half competent manager would be foolish to go to Everton. Their squad is a complete mess and somebody like Potter wont be given the time nor the control at the club to implement his style.

Re Hassenhuttl, the saints owners sell his best players every year. Reckon he'd take another prem job even if it was somewhat a sideways move, if it was to a club with bigger potential.

Potter I reckon can hold out for a bigger job than everton, maybe spurs or United even in a couple of years.

Rafa was on a hiding to nothing from the start. The Everton fans didn’t want him, the Everton players were not good enough (sorry @Toffeedude) and the board need someone with a bit of nous rather than the muddle heads they have at present.

I used to like visiting Everton but wouldn’t pay to watch them now I’m afraid.

An ex Liverpool Manager, a basket case of a club, a Manager who's done nothing of note for years & is living off distant past exploits...it was always gonna go badly
