They just had his groundsman (plastic pitch) on from Macc who was giving it the big City are turning the PL into the bundesliga said plastic pitch consultant was of course a rag. Idiocy and Savage are very close bedmates.

Of course it was all fine when the rags were winning it all the time. No problem there.

Got a good mate who’s an Everton fan. He met Dunc last time when he was manager. Apparently he doesn’t want it as he never wants to leave everton. Potter would be a good choice here I think. Rooney would be hilarious

How about a boyhood Evertonian who talks a good game while simultaneously making lots of hand gestures, which might come in useful in the technical area. Might be advisable to install some screens to protect innocents when he starts spitting at his abusers when they are 7 nil down but it's no easy transition from the Sky studio to the dugout.

Rafa was on a hiding to nothing from the start. The Everton fans didn’t want him, the Everton players were not good enough (sorry @Toffeedude) and the board need someone with a bit of nous rather than the muddle heads they have at present.

I used to like visiting Everton but wouldn’t pay to watch them now I’m afraid.

I suppose after the results there was no way he could stay. The problem being is that it will cost them a huge amount in pay out to Rafa....but then is that less than they would lose if they got dragged down?

I cannot see past them moving heaven and earth to get Rooney. Ferguson may suffice in the short term but the link with the club and fans that Rooney would bring would surely bring a bounce in form. that and gettign DCL back.

Despite the loss to Norwich I still think there are 3 worse teams than Everton and think they will be safe and can start to rebuild next season.
