.Gordon to Newcastle.
If true, 40 Mill with 5 mill added on over time, and a percentage of any sell on. If that is true then I hope we bite their hands of. Grab the money as he is not worth 20 mill. His head is up his own arse and he thinks is he special.
As she sings in Frozen "Let it go"
I genuinely feel for you and your club, it's just the same situation we had under Peter Swales, when we thought things had hit rock bottom he incredibly found a way to make it worse.Ha Ha
I love you too mate.
This is probably the outcome, but while it is still possible then we must try and get out of it. Had Frank stayed we would have sunk without a doubt. They have left it far too late to sack him, but we just have to hope we can do something.
What is wrong with Everton fans ???
Remember all the years when we were despairing for our future, often languishing near the bottom of the table, relegated a few times, relegated from Div 2, regular farcical failures blighted all our lives - proper hard times. Most seasons we’d have given our right arm for a nice comfortable 11th place PL finish.
Interesting stat - in the last 20 yrs Everton have only finished below 11th place on two occasions. So Everton fans really need to get a grip with their silly demos and threats and woe is me mindset. They should move with the times and be happy with their current level. 11th place is about par for the course for them as a club now, plenty of teams have bigger fanbases than them and it’s 35 yrs since they were a leading club.
Well I think in Dyche you have a man who has a long term plan and will bring stability. This isnt about expecting to be in the CL or beating the top 4 regularly. This is about gross incompetence and mismanagement at the highest level of the club for years and years.
A chairman with a god complex who has too much influence and cant handle not being the centre of attention, an owner who meddled in recruitment and listens to snake agents. Bad decision after bad decision setting us back repeatedly. No long term vision or strategy. Infighting, a massively split board and to top it off starting a war with fans by going after them in the press with unfounded and unsubstantiated claims of physical abuse of a board member supposedly in the middle of Goodison yet not a single picture. Along with claiming they recieved serious death threats and advised not to attend goodison. Both of which the police stated were never reported. This is just a fraction. Its a PL football club in a multi billion pound industry being run like a kids afterschool club.
Most Evertonians would settle for 12/13th for a few years at the moment just for stability if we knew that the club were actually trying to change and become professional, with a long term strategy.
On the other hand, their dreams might end in 3/4 to dust.He will cement Everton’s place in the Prem.
He’ll probably want to borrow Stones.
