Everton are going down this year.
trouble is a dont think bournmouth have a bent bung taking goalkeeper in nets ;)I think you’ll probably be in a position to survive by winning your last match of the season at home to Bournemouth.
I have a really good friend who’s an Evertonian, I would hate to say it to him but I believe you are correct. I thought at the time appointing Dyche was the wrong appointment, I wouldn’t have liked it if the shoe was on the other foot, heaven knows in the past how many times have we been in similar situations? They were unlucky when Ancelloti left them high and dry but since then they’ve been wrong with coach/manager appointments.Everton are going down this year.
Hand Segers diving over the top of the ball was truly a masterpiece of goalkeeping skullduggery.trouble is a dont think bournmouth have a bent bung taking goalkeeper in nets ;
Looks like it yeah, looking at the table and fixtures I'd say it's Southampton, Leeds and one other team, unfortunately for Everton they look like that one other team. Still, there's a few twists and turns to go yet.Everton are going down this year.
Not so sure now that Dyche was the correct choice. It comes across as a bit of a last attempt to salvage their season, avoid the drop at any cost.I have a really good friend who’s an Evertonian, I would hate to say it to him but I believe you are correct. Dyche is the perfect fit for them imo. Battling to get out of the Championship is what Dyche does. I do think they'll keep him if they go down. Perfect choice for me.Not so sure now that Dyche was the correct choice. It comes across as a bit of a last attempt to salvage their season, avoid the drop at any cost.
And Dyche would be well aware of that, so he couldn't really plan for the future, simply because he may not have a future at the club.
A bit of foresight and a bit of common sense might have served them better. Accept the inevitable and bring in a manager the fans would be happy with (you can't tell me Everton fans are happy with a pub-team manager in charge?). Someone with the club's best interests at heart. Obviously that 'someone' has got to be found, and I would have thought the club has had the feelers out for a long time, so it shouldn't be too long until a good, decent replacement can be found.
I've no argument with Everton (they hate the dippers, that makes them okay with me). They went a bit OTT with the Lescott saga but no fans would have been happy if an important part of their squad buggers off to sunnier climes.
They'll go down, that's almost for certain: but they'll be back with their new, shiny stadium, and with a few bob in the bank they'll have a rosy future.
Tell us how you feel -:)Just beat fucking Leicester FFS... historically a club that have spent the majority of their history outside the top flight, I find their supporters' arrogance and sanctimony utterly sickening.
