Then, we get the few idiots after the game having a go at the players as they were leaving the ground, and that gives the press the story they wanted. Well, done idiots for giving Bill and his band what they need.

I have said for years that behind the scenes something is rotten at this clubs. Jobs for Bills mates is just one problem. After that statement yesterday I now have no doubt that there is another agenda at play here. They put that statement out yesterday to fuel the fire and make out they were not allowed to attend the game due to their own safety, when they are just spineless shithouses who are not prepared to face fans who have every right to want answers. They blamed the fans , they have started the war of words, not us. The club is corrupt inside. The good thing is most of that board will never set foot inside the ground again.

A decent board would have sacked Lampard at Christmas. With these jokers in charge I would bet he is in charge for the next game. If he is then expect more statements and media lies to emerge.

They appear not to want to communicate with the fanbase and are already throwing lies to the media - I mean headlocking someone in this day and age - surely there would be film evidence

Therefore if not true, ( as most agree it never happened ) even more disturbing is the fact that they believe releasing this story will somehow make their tenure more viable. Sadly I think the trust between both sides may never be repaired for some time now. Which is sad as we do some great community work and this current shitfest should not be representative of who we are.
I think Bill got his AGM agenda mixed up with Coronation Street script as you could not make some of this shit up !

Ha ha, city used to do a good line in fights in the Directors box during the Swales era. The other one to look out for is the fire alarm sounding atnthe AGM when someone asks an awkward question and everyone legs it !

I remember when we were trying to get rid of Swales that stories were put out that City fans had "visited" his elderly mother at a nursing home.
Classic deflection tactics but the media led by your ever so impartial local paper will lap this up

I truly beieve that for some reason those behind the scenes want us relegated, and it is looking like they are going to get their way. If we go, then those fans they are turning on will still be turning out to watch the team, I will still be there, yet I doubt those board members or many behind the scenes will be anywhere near the club or give to fucks about it.

Shitting hell. The lunatics have taken over the asylum. If someone had grabbed DBB in a headlock, wouldn't it have been filmed? Everyone films everything these days. Especially if it's in plain sight. Do they think we're all thick?

Kenwright needs to sell up, stat. He needs to stop treating Everton like his precious baby and let people who actually have a clue take over, and he can take Moshiri and DBB with him. And yeah, it does feel like he's throwing Lampard and the players to the wolves.

Why would the board want us to go down though? How is it in their interests?

Not sure what the terms of his shares are re sale etc but at his age and in poor health I don't see why he would put himself through what will be a toxic few years. He lives in the past and football has moved on, we need businessmen to run the club not ex players or people who had Bob Latchford posters on their walls as a kid

EXACTLY. If he's so ill, why doesn't he just sell up? This can't be good for his health. Everton need someone objective, not a fan. Sheikh Mansour probably didn't have pics of Nicky Summerbee and Niall Quinn on his wall and yet here we are.

As for relegation, some clubs bounce back. Villa did, City did, Newcastle did. Others didn't. Wednesday, Sunderland, Ipswich, Coventry and worse, Oldham.
