Everton is a famous old football club

Maybe a little time in the lower divisions will give them the opportunity to reflect on the fact that Manchester City is also a famous old football club?
Who said City were not a famous old football club? Of course they are. We were playing an FA cup final together when Liverpool were dreaming of becoming a known team.

Go balls out for Vincent Kompany. You’re going down anyway so might as well get someone who might make a difference but will deffo get you up next season. Fat Frank guarantees neither.

Not at this moment.

Of course we are a miles bigger club than Burnley. However at this point, he's doing well, probably got a lot of responsibility and positivity there at the moment. In other circumstances there isnt a manager who doesnt move from Burnley to Everton if asked.

In this particular circumstance he's would be nuts to take the job. Club a mess, owner and chief exec all sticking their nose in about transfers, board who have no clue how to run a business. Players, who lets face it on paper are good enough to stay up devoid of confidence and now the atmosphere between the board and the fans is toxic. Im not sure he would want or need that on his CV early in his career

Too early yet, he's at the right club for his managerial career at the moment. Maybe move to City as assistant to Pep with a view to taking over when he leaves.
I think that now he is a manager in his own right, I really cannot see him going back to being an assistant even for Pep.

I think he needs to show that he can manage Burnley in the Premier League before moving on to another club with a bigger budget and higher expectations. Only when he does that will he be in the reckoning for the City job. Hard to put a timeframe on it but I'd say at the very least he's 3-4 years away.

Not sure how true but reports are that Everton's revenue is down by 12% this year and they spend a staggering 96% of this in wages

Fuck Everton Vincient.

He should be coming in soon as our assistant coach until pep leaves. Earned his go now.

Win win for all.

But he would do it if promised he would take over from Pep after a year.
Youre right it’s too soon but he looks promising. He would be incredibly popular with the fans here, except on the matchday thread.
