Yep from the outside it looks like that and why I’m baffled they haven’t sacked Lampard who is still very young in his managerial career! They should be sacking him and bringing in someone like Dyche who has vast experience to improve the results, saying that 20 game left is still a lot
I don't understand the clamour for Dyche.
They had Big Sam and it did not work out.
There again I cannot think of one manager in their predicament that would be certain of keeping them up.

I think maybe it shows how deeply in the shit we are as it's very hard to make a case for him. At what point do they say enough is enough - personally I think he should have gone before the World Cup break - give a new manager enough time to settle and a transfer window in the new year.
Lampard is a decent bloke and most wanted him to succeed. But I think he's more of a coach than a manager and he struggles to change a game in play. Then you question our player recruitment , of which he has to accept some of the blame. Whoever sanctioned Maupay and McNeil should never work in football again. The money he has been given has been squandered and he must have a say in recruitment of players.
I think we're in a crisis now where we have 2 choices- try and get a player in to possibly score 10 goals + and keep us up hopefully or save those resources and prepare for a season or ten out of the Premiership and survive on the parachute payments initially.

And that's the worrying thing for Everton fans. They know there's more shit being covered up but haven't a clue what it might be.
Is it not just a case - I say just but it’s still serious stuff if it turns out to be true - that it’s Usmanov funnelling money in and pulling the strings and not Moshiri? I came across an article at the weekend where various managerial candidates who were interviewed for the Everton job said that Usmanov was pushing himself as the actual owner rather than Moshiri:
