Since the 1-1 draw at the Etihad :

Everton 1-4 Brighton
United 3-1 Everton
Everton 1-2 Southampton
West Ham 2-0 Everton

See, lampit Lampard, playing like a cup final and celebrating taking 2 points off us, you knackered your players out.

Let that be a lesson to the rest of you shite managers that come to the Etihad.
Keep your job safe and down your tools and let us have our 3pts and turn up against the rest :-)

I hope City win the League/ Champions League, just for this post
Like most City fans i have had run ins with the Blue scousers... but away from the game they are usually ok and you can chat about football to them and not feel like you are listening to media speak.
I can't talk to the red dippers though..it's always the same ...no history ..no fans..state owned etc..no matter how you explain it to them they don't want to listen.
Shame about Frank getting the sack but I think it was probably the right decision.

It’s a tough choice on the Type of manager they pick.
1. Instant results keeping them up
2. Instant results that don’t keep them up, resulting in another sacking/turmoil.
3. Longterm steady planning, with the concept of coming back up next year if they do go down

It’s quite open still, 1/2 way through the season with the bottom 8/9 all potential relegation candidates.

Whether the fans can stomach 3, or rather can they stomach the sneering redshirts, is probably a better indication of how well a new manager will do.

Everton should be far more successful than the redshirt’s with their current investors, but maybe they just don’t have the correct management structure and personnel for a football club.

It would be nice not to see a ‘name with no experience’ (eg Lampard) or a ‘longtime manager who doesn’t achieve anything anywhere’ (eg Bruce etc), being pushed into the hot seat.
