Anyone claiming the PL dont want us to go down dont realise they have asked the commission for a total of 17 points too be took off us (12pts 1st breach and 5pts 2nd breach).

This commission disagrees with the previous one about the claims we should have planned for the Russian invasion. Also says the accusations by the PL in the first hearing are unwarranted, overstated or both

If I were Luton I'd be instructing the lawyers now. It makes no sense what they've done. The rules are the rules and the punishment should be the same. Can't have this oh we've already docked you points before so we can't dock you points again bullshit. It's a completely different accounting period, multiple rules broken again therefore it has to be the same punishment

It's all too messy and don't really know what to suggest. They're managing to make a complete clusterf*ck of it all though. It being a 3 year window convolutes everything and isn't helpful. Isn't that how Leicester got done as they thought it no longer applied to them after relegation? Yet they can only collect their points deduction when they're back in the Premier League. Maybe you shouldn't be double-dipped for a points deduction within the same season and therefore the punishment is more likely to remain the same.

Absolutely!

To borrow from the glorious 'Blazing Saddles', when The Waco Kid (Gene Wilder) consoles Sheriff Bart (Cleavon Little):

"What did you expect? 'Welcome, sonny'? 'Make yourself at home'? 'Marry my daughter'?

You've got to remember that these are just simple (football fans). These are people of the land. The common clay of the new (Digital Age).

You know... morons.."
Mongo likes this post !!!

Just been on BBC Everton points deducted story. I reported every comment that mentions City as defamatory. I won't hold my breath. Why are the public so fucking dense?
What's amazing is that the BBC article itself makes no mention of 'City' or "115", that must be a 1st on articles about FFP and P&S stories, in the past year!

I hope City have dirt on the prem and the red teams +1 and if they need to press the nuke button then they will .

Everton: 6 + 2 = 8 / 2 = 4pts per offence

Forest: 4 pts per offence

Even Steven.

Premier League shows how pathetic and moronic they are. And, TWO points deductions in the same season for DIFFERENT SEASONS’ offences is unsound.

That's neither here nor there. But yes. It's all a big mess.

So if I've understood the article correctly, one of the things Everton are punished for is building a new stadium, and the way they financed it. Everybody agrees that that stadium was long overdue. I have difficulty in understanding in this day and age that a club can be punished for building a new home for themselves. Apart from anything else, it is secondarily a facility for the league that the club happen to find themselves in (whether it be the PL or the Championship next season).
Just looks stupid to me.

And the Dippers got away with failing FFP due to a 50 million allowance in the books for a new stadium that never happened

Genuine question but with the Rags failing Uefa FFP where is the PL investigation into them ?
The Media went to pains to tell us they only just failed without mentioning figures but Everton losses were just 16 million over 3 years so surely the Rags accounts need looking at
Just a "minor" breach - nothing to see here ;)

On the PSR stuff, I don't understand why there isn't a simple sliding scale. 0-9% over - X points, 10-29% over, - y points etc, etc. Everyone would know where they stood then

Blaspemy... (shout the PL)

The new stadium wouldn't be considered in psr calculations had the Everton board not fucked up in following the very rules they voted for.

More chance of me shagging Miss World than the premier league looking into any of the red shirted cartels books. Witch hunts are confined to Citys accounts only.

It's another joke of a rule that's clearly designed to hamstring teams that aren't in the old 'top 4' that already just happen to have the biggest stadiums etc, complete coincidence that they don't want anyone else building a big stadium so they can earn more matchday revenue...
