Everton Thread | 2024/25

Truly mental decision. Dyche keeps a championship standard Everton squad in the league, comfortably so. Without Dyche, they're in big danger. Ipswich, wolves and Leicester will be celebrating this decision tonight. They'll go down if two of them can get their act together. I think wolves will do so, if one of the others can too it's curtains.

Hope they go down now just because of the sheer stupidity of this decision. fucking idiot yanks.

Let's face it, if one of the best manager's out there - Ancelotti can't get a tune out of them, I doubt anyone else can without massive investment.

I don’t support the club or have strong opinions about them but I really, really don’t want them relegated.

I think it would be a very sad day a club that had always been in the top league went down. Sad day I don’t want to see.

Totally proves the old adage that you cannot make chicken salad from chicken shit..

Cheers mate.

Agreed.

Dyche would have kept them in the league 100%, He's been keeping a really poor group of players in the league the last few seasons and done well by doing that.

I genuinely think there's a big chance of them being relegated now.

The fans have got Ronald Koeman and Marco Silva out the door in previous seasons too, So what exactly do they want?

Anything above 18th place is good for them with the squad of players they have and the financial situation they find themselves in.
Koeman was utter gash, Silva and even Martinez we were stupid to get rid of so readily. The managers that we could possibly attract we can't - apart from a new stadium we have little to offer generally. There's 2 relegation places possibly and this could be the season we go.

Why? We’ve been there. Villa, Leeds etc. They have no divine right to be a prem club and, if truth be told, it could be what they need. Look at Villa now.

What about Lopetegui ? Don’t Managers just keep getting recycled, sign multi year contracts, get fired early, take a big severance package then sign for a new Club. Everton sounds perfect for him and vice versa.
Maybe. moyes was miles better for West Ham and is the more obvious choice

Apparently it's on the BBC red button, and on the iPlayer. It's also on Premier Sports 1, if you have access to that.
I’m on iplayer now. Can’t find it and the red button on virgin media for the bbc brings up Eastenders.

It’s just come on iplayer.
