Everton Thread | 2024/25

Truly mental decision. Dyche keeps a championship standard Everton squad in the league, comfortably so. Without Dyche, they're in big danger. Ipswich, wolves and Leicester will be celebrating this decision tonight. They'll go down if two of them can get their act together. I think wolves will do so, if one of the others can too it's curtains.

Hope they go down now just because of the sheer stupidity of this decision. fucking idiot yanks.
Now fat Sam has retired I can't think of a better option if you are 1 point above relegation mid-season with a pretty average squad. What pisses me off about this is it probably gives the rags a better chance of staying up :-(

Koeman was utter gash, Silva and even Martinez we were stupid to get rid of so readily. The managers that we could possibly attract we can't - apart from a new stadium we have little to offer generally. There's 2 relegation places possibly and this could be the season we go.
What do you make of Sean Dyche been sacked?

What's really going to change with a new manager coming in, You'd know more than me with being an Everton, I take it the same applies to the new boss as in working on a next to nothing budget with loan deals and free transfers?

United were never getting relegated.
If it weren't for the fact that apart from ipswich they've all already changed managers, I would have put money on one of those clubs bringing in Dyche and have him save them at Evertons expense, can't see ipswich getting rid of their manager but that would be poetic justice.
