That being said, not quite the same but, the last time I went to the swamp and ordered beer (we lost 1-0 in the LC when Pep played kids) I passed beer back to my party innocently and the girl pulled another 2 pints so we had 5 for the price of 3.... thought it was rude not to accept the hospitality on offer.

Keir Starmer given 2 free tickets to the final game at Goodison. Some fans cannot get one. That is Everton fans, not an Arsenal fan like this bloomin freeloader.

Club needs a bollocking for giving him tickets.

Can you just imagine all of the great and the good being offered tickets to the last game at the expense of toffee fans who actually give a shit and pay for tickets.

After the match there will be a party for the well appointed, and the rank and file can watch through the windows.

He was badly tarnished by his time at the rags. And Hammers fans didn't like him. But he managed them to their first silverware since 1980 (?), ugly football or not. And, as you acknowledged, he got you out of a shitty situation under the ginger Mourinho.

Must be a fucking joy knowing you'll start the new season at that impressive looking new stadium. That must have been a genuine fear with some of your fans under the old management.

Deffo a fear when Dyche was in charge. It looked bad for a while. Being relegated in our final season at Goodison would have been a nightmare. New stadium will be nice, but leaving some great memories at Goodison, not just football, some wonderful people who are now gone. And of course, my lovely pops took me my first game there. But things change, as a club we must go with it or fade away.
