Wasn't the most fluid performance but fuck me the lads really dug in.
We have everything tonight in effort and determination.
They didn't really look like scoring against us but still gave us a few scarry moments as it only takes a deflection or a slip and it's nervy at 1-0.
We did what we needed to do and Laporte is fucking brilliant...great performance from him and a fantastic header.
Pickford is a whining little twat who was trying to get Fern booked..shite keeper and a wanker to boot.
Great pass from Kev to Gabby ...I was shouting get it in the corner ffs...great support from the lads n lasses there tonight.

His assist aside, Merlin was dreadful.

I absolutely love how much David Silva constantly makes himself available for a pass time after time after time. In a game where the opposition were at us all over the pitch he must be a dream for our defenders to play with. Maybe his seemingly bad performance was from a lack of movement around him.

That second half edge of the box opportunity to shoot where he took extra touches is one that stands out for me. Still love him to bits though, and he has sheer genius in his locker every game

This is the worst run of matches I have seen from David in all his time here, it is a bit of a worry, hopefully it will just be temporary and his class will return in time for the run in :)

Silva isn’t at his best the last number of games,but he’s so important to the team with his chasing and tracking back,he also has it in him to unlock the door even when not fully on it,loved the bit second half around about 70-75 min mark gesturing with his arms to whoever played a loose ball out of play to calm down,wise experienced head on the pitch ...
