Everton V City post match

In NYC at the City pub and remarkably calm for the stress we should have been feeling. I thought that was an excellent win — very strong defensively and LaPorte MOTM, strong on both ends. Good to see steel in the face of chaos. Hard earned three points at a bogey ground, well done boys, that has to be satisfying.

Don’t think people are slagging him off mate. Just think we are all realising that probably the best player to play in the premier league let alone for City is finally (well beyond what mere mortals do) showing signs of an inevitable slowdown.
He's 33 mate not 83. His game isn't about speed and making lung busting runs, half of his game is in his head, he sees thing other players don't even dream about.
Finally showing signs of an inevitable slowdown? Are you fucking tripping?
I've seen some tripe posted on bluemoon but you mate have took it to another level.
Clueless.

I thought we made that difficult for ourselves by being total shit around the penalty area tbh.

But we fought rather than cruising & we didn't allow Everton one single chance, in spite of a couple of comedy moments by Walker & Otamendi, everyone worked to cover.

Liverpool may or may not turn Everton over, but they will not do it without Everton creating chances.

We are not playing great but we won. That said, Everton were much better than they have been of late though they didn't have a shot on target.
Fernandinho looks slightly off the pace to me, our defending is not what it should be and we just aren't as sharp as we have been.

Enjoy it fella.
