To be fair to them and the manager he made 5 changes and they have just lost at home against Wolves so some of those fringe players probably had a bit to prove. There are no gimme’s in this league.

We didnt play anywhere near our potential , and credit to Everton because as my mate is a season card holder and he said they havent ran and chased like that for months , but it was all about the result when the ref ruled Sane offside when he was level and denied Gundogan a stone wall penalty we knew we were playing 13 men , so victory is so much sweeter.
We need to keep this level of commitment and fight until the end of the season , we can't always win pretty , really proud of our players tonight they gave everything for the cause.

I was quite impressed with Everton tonight, hopefully they can have a run of good form in time for the Liverpool game. We weren't at our best tonight, but the work rate that was missing at Newcastle pulled us through tonight.
