Everton V City post match

very nervy performance, cant remember seeing us caught in posession so often up front with players holding on to the ball too long but a great 3points is all that matters at this stage, hopefully back to our best on sunday

Funniest wAs " there has been a late goal at Goodison park but lets first get an update from West Brom v Brighton". About 3 minutes later " was it an equaliser? Unfortunatly not"
I was watching Sky and also had the matchday thread on. There was about 2 mins difference maybe more until they even got on to what you quoted. Very much pissed on their chips.

Not the greatest performance but an away win at Goodison is never easy. Great atmosphere and was a good opportunity for fans with a few less points to be given a chance to get tickets due to the short notice.

Is anyone else starting to enjoy the drama of this season? Last season was a bit of a breeze for most of the time so it’s hreat to have some good old fashioned game-to-game drama as the season builds to a climax. It’s the first time in 5 years, really, and I personally am really loving it.

Exactly, in the second half we could hardly string two passes together but in the end job done, we are good at seeing a game out though in ET which eases the nerves considerably.

Well in that case I’m off to bed as I clearly don’t have a pair of eyeballs that work anymore.

We can cherish the clubs greatest player all we want but refusing to believe he’s good enough to defy age is bonkers and quite frankly wrong. He was unexpectedly brilliant last year (yes, as good as 11/12) but to expect that to continue is ridiculous... let the man, the magician grow old gracefully istead if pretending he’s 26. He’s not.

Didnt someone mention his son copping for pnuemonia..

This all day, people need to look hard at our legends because it's coming to an end some sooner than you know.

Vinny is fucked & nobody Inc himself knows when or if he plays again, Dave has been bang average all season, KDB needed rest he got it tonight but now needs to kick on.
Dino & Bernardo are 1st choice & 100% correct now it's down to legs & assists & KDB probably just wines it for me.
It's going to take 1 mighty push to win the double this year but this team can do it if we keep Dino & Berny fit they are City's heartbeat.
The only way Dave plays is Dino going back to CH like Sunday v Arsenal.
Daves form before Christmas was excellent. When Kdb was out he played very well. Maybe just maybe he has things on his mind. It's still a squad game so to give Kdb more rest was good going.

You probably should.

For some reason you are peddling the rhetoric that age catches up to every player. You’ve convinced yourself it will get to Dave and I’m not sure why.

Even more so today, players are fit as a fucking fiddle and there is no logic at all in thinking that Spanish Dave won’t continue at the very highest level until the very last second, at the very top of his game.

He looks as good as ever to me.

If you are seeing drop off then I have 2 words.

Bernardo Silva.

That man is fucking incredible and over time will be better than Spanish Dave and that is a hugely risky statement given how good David has been.

Punch for punch... all the way to the wire this. However as our bonus we are already in the League Cup Final and still in the FA Cup unlike the dippers who are concentrating on winning their first Premier League Title so they say lol.

Bernardo is an absolute machine. He just keeps on running all game. During the Liverpool game, he broke his own record of most distance run by any player this season by running a massive 13.7Km (just over 8.5 miles).
