For some reason you are peddling the rhetoric that age catches up to every player. You’ve convinced yourself it will get to Dave and I’m not sure why.
Even more so today, players are fit as a fucking fiddle and there is no logic at all in thinking that Spanish Dave won’t continue at the very highest level until the very last second, at the very top of his game.
He looks as good as ever to me.

That man is fucking incredible and over time will be better than Spanish Dave and that is a hugely risky statement given how good David has been.
You were doing so well until your last statement , if Bernardo does half of what Merlin has achieved for our club i would be very happy , but great point about Merlin he does not rely on strength and speed he is yards ahead of most players with his football brain. Not sure why some of our "fans" are so ready to write off our heroes in blue shirts , very weird.
Bernardo is an absolute machine. He just keeps on running all game. During the Liverpool game, he broke his own record of most distance run by any player this season by running a massive 13.7Km (just over 8.5 miles).
